I was trying to work with timelineFX and Blitz3D SDK or Xors3D
buts its impossible.
Since they open a 3D window all the commands of Blitzmax arnt working.
Is there a way to make it work?
Hmm I’m really not sure and I’d doubt it to be honest, if it’s going to work with anything it’s probably going to be minib3d as I believe normal blitzmax draw commands would work with that. But primarily timelinefx is a 2d particle system.
😎 Xors3D has the same command as Blitz3D
Its really a waist not to be able to use timelinefx under 3D engine.
All you need to do as far as I understand is a few minuts of work to modify it so it may be used under Xors3D
all the commands of BlitzMax has identical commands
on xors3d
most of the work is replacing them..
For example Flip should Be XFlip
turning TimelineFx to support Blitzmax in 3D mode is a huge leap for TimelineFX
Im using Blitzmax for 2D games but Im using 3D shapes for 2D scroll Games like “The Trine”.
Please just give it a moment or two see if its possible to be done.

I just answered over on the Blitzmax forum, but there’s only limited support I can offer for systems that I don’t own, but hopefully you can get it going in some form 🙂
