DPI bug -bottom options cutoff

The fix reported in this thread does not work for me [win7 1080p screen @ 125% DPI] I suspect this is due to ‘change high DPI settings’ only affecting 150% as 125% is medium, and I don’t consider 100% DPI a valid option for 24″ screen.
I can see the record button fine, but particle and effect tabs have ‘group particles’ ‘use effect..’ and ‘millisecs’ cutoff, only way i can access them is by changing resolutions [even to a lower one] but it resets when the app is restarted – the preset tree list gets longer pushing the settings tabs down.
…being able to resize settings tab vertically would resolve this issue and allow more zooming/precise use of the graph too.
I’m going to schedule some time next week to try and sort out this issue, will report back soon hopefully with a new update.
The latest version that I just uploaded for Windows now has resizable animation dialog and export options so they should be a bit easier to use now 🙂
thanks, but i am not having any issues with the pop-up animation window that the other thread had – my issue is with the main program window ‘particle’ and ‘effect’ tabs being cut off at the bottom, can you make them resizable too?
also, the installer only updated 4 files [and not the v1.35 exe] so i had to uninstall it to get v1.36 exe.
Right, give that a go, I replaced the tab control with one that seems to respect the DPI as it should. The installer should properly overwrite the executable as well now. Let me know if it’s better now.
installer, DPI and attributes color are fixed, but the main program window ‘particle’ and ‘effect’ tabs that previously used the theme ‘window border’ color are now using theme ‘title bar’ color, which in my case is too dark now.
this is the 1st app i ever saw trying to use title bar colors for app backgrounds so is somewhat unconventional, and strange looking.
