ive been messing about with a particle emitter program i created (not a patch on this i might add) and i added a create random effect button.It just uses the shape you have selected and just applies any random number or colour or indeed colour change to the effect.The effects can be quite amazing and very hypnotic.very easy to come up with some effects you would never have achieved if you sat down and planned it.So i thought id ask if there was any chance this could be added as i know your working on your editor right now for the monkey update. I doubt this would be as easy as im making it sound but i thought id try.Looking forward to the monkey module.
Hi, one of the things I wanted to add at some point was effect wizards, that would help you get started with different types of effects like explosions, flares etc, where you could randomise certain attributes to quickly come up with different effects of a specific type to speed up the creation process.
